Our story · A letter from Tammi

Built as a family.

As a mother of 14 children, family has always been the heartbeat of my life: the place where love is lived, lessons are learned, and the place that has shaped so much of who I am.

For almost 34 years, my husband and I have built that life together, raising our children and being intentional about the family we were creating.

Together, we've had the privilege of teaching our children to live with faith, lead with kindness, choose positivity, encourage others, and recognize the God-given purpose in every person. These are more than values to us; they are guiding principles for how we choose to move through life.

Those principles are stitched into the very meaning of Bee & Lion. The bee represents diligence, community, and the strength we discover when we work together. The lion represents courage, resilience, and the conviction to stand firmly in what we believe.

The name also honors two little lives who left an everlasting mark on our family. Their memory reminds us that even through the most difficult seasons, something beautiful can still take root, grow, and offer healing.

That makes creating Bee & Lion with two of my daughters even more meaningful. Their ideas, their perspective, and the heart they've poured into this have helped shape what Bee & Lion has become. With the rest of our tribe contributing along the way, it has truly become something we have built as a family.

Together, we bring different generations and experiences to the table, united by the same desire to create something meaningful and leave a legacy that can be carried forward for generations to come.

Bee & Lion is more than clothing. It's a reminder to live boldly, love deeply, and lift one another higher.

Everything is made here, by us. Blanks made in the USA, printed in our own shop in Northern California, checked and packed at our own table. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is sent offshore.
