We designed the Psalm Boat because the image of the Lord over the sea has always felt deeply comforting to us.
Psalm 89:9 says, “You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them.” Throughout Scripture, we see the power of God displayed over the waves and the storm, reminding us that the same God who created the sea is with us in the midst of our own storms.
Life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and heavy at times, but we do not have to fear the wind and waves when we know who is in control of them. Jesus remains present and steady, meeting us in the storm with peace, comfort, and the assurance that we are held safely in His care.
